Alabama vS. Georgia Live stream. Alabama’s Jeremy Pruitt juggles CFP title game vs. Georgia and new job with Vols, Georgia vs. Alabama for College Football Playoff title: Who has the edge
Alabama head coach Nick Saban will face one of his former assistants for the 12th time in his career in Monday’s CFB National Championship. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart, who was Saban’s defensive coordinator at Alabama, has built a mirror image of the Crimson Tide in his first two seasons in Athens, Georgia.
If his Crimson Tide defense can slow down the Bulldogs’ top-20 scoring offense and star running backs Sony Michel and Nick Chubb, the 43-year-old will have another championship ring to show off in Knoxville. If it can’t, the title will go to Kirby Smart, the coach who let him go two years ago at Georgia.
So it goes in an all-SEC matchup loaded with weird coaching cross-pollination. As for the on-field concerns, Smart is worried about the physical nature of the Crimson Tide on the interior. Outside of Auburn, Georgia hasn’t faced a team with so much strength on the offensive and defensive lines.
Jaguars vs Bills Live stream. Jaguars vs. Bills live stream, TV channel, score; NFL playoffs 2018
The 2018 NFL playoffs continue, Sunday, Jan. 7, as the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Buffalo Bills in an AFC wild-card round game at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. CBS will broadcast the game beginning at 12:05 p.m. Central (1:05 p.m. Eastern). The Jaguars are an 8.5-point favorite, according to Vegas Insider. Jacksonville (10-6) won the AFC South championship this season. Buffalo (9-7) is a wildcard out of the AFC East.
Before you lock in your picks, you need to see what Vegas legend Micah Roberts has to say. Earlier this season with the Bills visiting the Chargers, Roberts told readers to lay 5.5 points with L.A. The result: Chargers 54, Bills 24 — a rocking-chair cover. Stunningly, that cash improved Roberts to 4-0 on picks for or against the Bills. Anyone who has followed his advice is up big.
Part of his success: He ran Station Casinos’ sportsbooks for 13 years and has a vast network of Vegas sources. He can spot a bad line a mile away. People are stuck on the old Blake Bortles, the one that lost a lot with a franchise that struggled a lot. He was the No. 3 pick in the 2014 draft and his development has been typical of several young quarterbacks, especially those from smaller colleges (Central Florida).
Panthers vs Saints Live stream. Panthers vs. Saints: Updated Odds, TV Info and Prediction for Wild-Card Game
The wait for the final game of Wild-Card Weektend should be worth it as NFC South foes New Orleans and Carolina square off at the Superdome on Sunday afternoon. The Saints had the upper hand over the Panthers in the regular season, but they have the unenviable task of completing the three-game sweep in the postseason.
Both teams enter the playoffs off Week 17 defeats that led to the Saints clinching the division title and the Panthers slotting into the No. 5 seed in the NFC. Check out the OddsShark podcast on iTunes or at OddsShark.libsyn.com for more picks and a breakdown of this week’s top sports betting news.
Conversely, for Carolina to prevail, Newton likely will have to put his team on his back as he did during his team’s Super Bowl season in 2015 when he earned league-MVP honors. That has helped take pressure off future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees, who is still capable of winning games on his own but no longer needs to all the time.
Bills vs Jaguars Live stream. Bills vs. Jaguars: Updated Odds, TV Info and Prediction for Wild-Card Game
Few would have predicted before the 2017 season that the Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars would square off in a playoff game. Both teams surpassed expectations to earn their first taste of playoff football in many years. The Bills (9-7) are in the postseason for the first time since 1999, courtesy of a late touchdown in Week 17 for the Cincinnati Bengals against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Jaguars (10-6) are back in the postseason for the first time since 2007, having won the AFC South just one year after a 3-13 season. They ultimately picked a general manager named Brandon Beane who seems to understand what talented players look like, a gunslinger in a suit who isn’t afraid to trade away players who didn’t fit into what he and McDermott are trying to build.
As for the quarterback, maybe he’s not the right man for the job long-term, but love him or hate him, Tyrod Taylor is the first quarterback since Doug Flutie to get the Bills to the postseason.
Wild Card 2018 Live stream. NFC Wild Card 2018, Atlanta Falcons at Los Angeles Rams live stream: How to watch, 018 NFL Mock Draft: Pre-Wild Card Round Predictions for 1st-Round Prospects
A season ago, the Atlanta Falcons led the NFL in scoring with 540 points. It was tied for the eighth-highest single-season total in league history. Led by MVP Matt Ryan, Dan Quinn’s club parlayed that attack into an appearance in Super Bowl LI. And yes, we all know how that turned out. This past year, the Los Angeles Rams did a 180 when it came to lighting up the scoreboard. One season after scoring an NFL-low 224 points, new head coach Sean McVay held guide a team that more than doubled than figure (478) and led the entire league.
The Rams went from four wins to an 11-5 record and the NFC West title. The franchise is in the playoffs for the first time since 2004 and hosting a postseason game for the first time since ’03. It’s also a big month for 12 NFL teams because they are on a journey to win the Super Bowl when the postseason begins. Even as they fight for a championship, their scouting departments are hard at work evaluating the next wave of talent coming into the league.
With more than three months until the draft begins on Apr. 26, here’s an early mock projecting how things will shake out in the first round. The Atlanta Falcons will be 6-point underdogs when they take the field on Saturday night at the Los Angeles Coliseum (via OddsShark). And it’s no shock that the over/under for this Wild Card match-up stands at 48.5.
Wild Card Weekend 2018 live stream. NFL Wild Card Weekend 2018: Updated Odds, TV Schedule and Predictions
The 2018 NFL playoffs get underway Saturday afternoon. We break down game time, TV schedule, odds, streaming info and more for wild card weekend. Six of the eight NFL wild-card teams (and eight of the 12 playoff teams) didn’t make the postseason last year. That massive turnover should make for intriguing playoffs, which kick off when the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs meet in an AFC wild-card tilt.
Here’s a look at the schedule, alongside some spreads and over/under totals via OddsShark. Then, we’ll follow that up with some quick picks for the quartet of games. The second game of the day features the Rams playing their first playoff game since 2004. Sean McVay is a strong coach of the year candidate, and he gets his first crack at the playoffs with Jared Goff and company.
They face last year’s Super Bowl loser in the Falcons. The Rams are giving 5.5 points in this one, according to Odds Shark. We ranked the four possible wild-card-round outcomes in the AFC, from most beneficial to the Patriots to least. First, a look at the matchups:
Falcons vs Rams live stream. Falcons vs. Rams 2018: Time, TV schedule for NFL playoffs’ wild card game, Falcons vs. Rams wild-card game in L.A.
The two teams will kick off the NFC side of the 2018 playoffs. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBC (live stream). The Falcons were supposed to be here — they’re the defending NFC champions. The Rams, on the other hand, were coming off a 4-12 season and breaking in the youngest head coach in the NFL. Despite those disparate pasts, it’ll be Los Angeles — and not Atlanta — playing host to Saturday’s Wild Card Game.
For the first time in 39 years, the city of Los Angeles will host a playoff game for the Rams. Jan. 7, 1979, was the last time the Rams held a postseason game in L.A. They moved their home games to Anaheim Stadium the following season, and the franchise moved to St. Louis in 1995. The Coliseum should be filled with Rams fans, many of which will be experiencing their first postseason game.
If not, the lack of support in L.A. will be a huge storyline. More conventional stats pit the Rams with the highest-scoring offense in the NFL, against a Falcons defense that has carried them down the stretch as Ryan and the offense has been hit-and-miss. Over the last six weeks the Falcons have given up 23 points or fewer in each game; that included two games against the Saints and single ones against the Vikings and Panthers, all potent offenses.
Titans vs Chiefs live stream. Titans vs. Chiefs: Odds, TV Schedule, Predictions for 2018 AFC Wild Card, NFL playoffs: Picks, odds for Titans vs. Chiefs wild-card game
Circumstances are different this time around, however. Tennessee faces an uphill battle to the Super Bowl as a No. 5 seed, and it starts the postseason with a wild-card road game against the Kansas City Chiefs, who went 6-2 at Arrowhead Stadium this year. Per OddsShark, the Chiefs are eight-point favorites in a matchup with a 44.5-point over/under total. The game will be telecast on ESPN and ABC at 4:35 p.m. ET on Saturday.
Credit the Tennessee defense for paving the way to the playoffs, especially in the finale over the Jaguars that broke their late three-game losing streak. Marcus Mariota regressed throughout the second half of the season, the two-headed rushing attack did not pick up where it left off last year, and DeMarco Murray’s status for this game (knee) is up in the air.
The Chiefs blasted out to the top of the NFL’s power rankings with a 5-0 start that included victories over the No. 1 seeds in both the AFC and NFC, but a 1-6 midseason swoon put their postseason hopes in question. Both the Raiders and Chargers challenged for the AFC West crown, but Kansas City closed out its season with a four-game winning streak to reclaim the September swagger that made the team so dangerous.
